STAR Needs YOU! STAR Members Have a Voice!
We are always looking for Volunteers to help guide the association and to create a strong bond between Staff, REALTORS®, and the Community. Even if you can't volunteer to sit on a committee or the Board of Directors, you can always contribute or volunteer your time by attending our events and showing your support for your STAR Association.
If you are in a position to serve on a Committee, please reach out to the staff liaison and we can guide you in making the proper committee involvement that suits you.
Committees for REALTORS® & Affiliates

Engage STAR members with the local community and enhance their professionalism, knowledge, and profitability through outreach efforts, educational programs, and social events.
Community Engagement
- Review and implement the STAR strategic plan and NAR Core Standards.
- Organize and execute four community activities annually, two focused on STAR as the"Voice for Real Estate" and two on charitable investments.
- Conduct fundraising activities benefiting local charities.
- Assist with STAR’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Educational Programs
- Plan and implement continuing education (CE) courses, including STAR’s signature R-Day event in October.
- Ensure courses meet high standards of quality and relevance.
- Share information about STAR’s services, education, and events.
Membership Involvement
- Develop communication strategies to engage members in community outreach and education events.
- Coordinate member-centric social events throughout the year.

Provides and reviews services to REALTOR® members while striving to strengthen Affiliate involvement. Provides programs which will enhance the social aspects and comradeship among Association members.

Reviews and amends the Association’s governing documents as directed by the leadership and/or membership. Reviews/creates the strategic plan of the Association reviews/creates the strategic plan of the Association. This committee usually includes the Executive Committee, STAR Staff, and Legal Counsel.
